How Coinflip works
A conventional coinflip lobby has two participants or two sides. Each enters a stake, the game resolves the result, and the winning side receives the pot after the platform's deductions. Joining a player's lobby and playing against the house are different arrangements: identify which one the game uses before you enter.
The chance of either side winning and the amount returned are separate figures. Even a round with equally likely sides can return less than twice the stake because of a fee. The amount shown as winnings can include your original stake, so compare net profit with total payout.
Read the lobby's item-value tolerance, joining deadline, cancellation rule and settlement method. A multi-coin or X-Flip variant belongs to this family, but its extra coins and payout table give it different rules from a single head-to-head flip.
For a hypothetical $10 entry and a $20 two-player pot, a $1 deduction leaves $19 returned to the winner. The winner's net profit is $9, not $19. This is an illustration, not a site's quoted fee.
