Reveal safe positions on a board while avoiding hidden mines. Board size, mine count and the payout after each safe reveal define the version you are playing.

Rust / Mines

Rust mines sites

A conventional mines round contains hidden hazards and safe positions. A safe reveal advances the round's payout, while revealing a mine loses the active stake. The player can stop according to the game's cashout rule rather than completing the whole board.

Compare the board size, mine count and payout table before entering. Increasing the number of mines changes the probability of a safe reveal. After safe positions have been removed, the probability for the next selection depends on the remaining positions, not the board's original total.

Solo Mines, PvP Mines and named variants can use different settlement rules. Tiles and Defusal are listed separately when the official menu treats them as distinct games. A board with numbers drawn simultaneously is not automatically the same as a sequential mines game.

On a hypothetical 25-position board with 5 mines, the first reveal has 20 safe positions out of 25. After one safe reveal, 19 of the 24 remaining positions are safe. Site payout tables also include their pricing and house edge.
